    The single cheapest filter to publish. Its absence produces enquiries no one can quote.

Questions suppliers ask

Should we publish our forging capacity in tonnes?

Publish press capacities and the weight range each covers, rather than a single tonnage figure. Buyers match a part to a press, and the range is what they need. A total annual tonnage tells them about your size but nothing about whether their part fits.

How important is in-house heat treatment to buyers?

More than most forgers assume. It shortens lead time, keeps traceability in one place and removes a subcontractor from the risk chain. If you have it, it belongs on the capability page; if you do not, say who does it and how traceability is maintained.

What evidence best supports a first order?

A redacted example of the full document set for a comparable part: material certificate, heat treatment record, test results and dimensional report. Buyers are trying to picture what arrives with the parts, and showing it settles the question faster than any description.
